Thank you for the reply. I used device manager to locate the ssd connected with usb to make sure the system recognises it. Then I formated the ssd with disk management utility and created partitions. Rebooted the laptop and opened the BIoS to check once again that the ahci mode was selected. During boot the laptop downloaded all ahci drivers for the ssd. I then proceeded with editing the registry bur everything was changed.
I mounted the ssd in the hdd socket, booted with W10 usb and installed successfully the OS. Users should pay attention when placing the ssd snto the hdd ssocket, as many times the ssd is not properly connected with the sata links.
